The girl ad returned to her domain. A chill wind tried to chase her into the dense thickets but, alas, it's sharp claws couldn't dig themselves into her until she left the forest again. She was so happy to finally be home again! Her legs hurt and so did her eyes, but she first had a task: her gift for the protector.
She slunk her way around until she was at the great beast's den, she could hear him inside, slumbering. That was ok, he would know from her scent and she held no fear for him. If Cry trusted the bear, so did she. Without a second thought.
The patchwork slipped inside the den, trying her best stalking. She dropped the grouse feathers by his paw, watching over him for a moment longer, before slipping back outside with a sigh of relief. She did it! She had entered without waking him. Her tail wagged as she launched into a lope, weaving through the trees to find somewhere to sleep. She was yet to dig a den, but it was ok for now as there were plenty of holes under trees she could line.
As an afterthought, before starting work, she tipped her head up and called for @Arrowbella and @Kai, they deserved to know the upcoming situation and the return of herself. Oh, how she'd be so glad to see them! In truth, she hadn't yet spoken much to Arrowbella, but she hoped that they could explore the forest and surrounding lands together. Maybe she'd accompany her to the Redhawks.
Seeking her friends -- for that is what she considered them -- she also searched for a place to lay until dawn, hopefully warm.
