Good god her kid was adorable. Finley grinned at his thinking face, which is totally giving me Winnie the Pooh feels. It made her happy that he actually liked the nickname since it had grown on her already. It might not be a total replacement for Cinder, but it didn't necessarily need to be.

"Yeah? You know, you wouldn't be the first Blackthorn to have three or four nicknames," she said, trying to encourage him. Regardless of whether he picked it up or not, Fin would definitely be calling him that. Especially after the show he decided to put on for her that brought a laugh out of her.

"Look at you go!" she replied, wagging her tail, "Bouncing around is actually how I got my nickname - ...I mean, I don't. I'm lying." Finley faltered the moment she got to the word nickname as she realized how very much she did NOT want anyone else to know it. She'd hated the name all her life and could only imagine the fun her boys would have if they picked it up (if they hadn't already at some point in their lives idek).
