on the borders; searching for lucas!

Well, the dark wolf on the mountain hadn’t really been much help to her, and she was pretty sure that he had some marbles missing from his skull or something because he’d been kinda off the entire time. She didn’t think that she had been asking for that much. Young pup goes missing and she gets weird looks from the yellow-eyed creep on the rock. Pfft, at least she was out there doing something! At least she was looking for her brother when everyone else had given up.
 
And look she did; Piper trekked across bog and through wilderness until her weary legs found her at the edge of yet another pack. The scent of this one was one that she’d never actually gotten a whiff of before. She thought it was pretty impressive that there were so many settlers. Many of them she would have never known existed unless she’d taken a step outside the valley. At the edge of their claim, the Redleaf girl drew her head back and called for anyone who might be willing to come to the borders.
