"Thank you, that means a lot, " Liri murmured. It did lessen the pain somewhat, knowing another shared her grief at the fall of the pack. Ruenna was just as devastated as the former Alpha, if not more so given that the bird had witnessed Kavik's betrayal. 

"You have left the Creek?" The healer asked with surprise, touched that Rue had defected on her account though guilt overshadowed this emotion. It meant that Ruenna was heartbroken as she. 

"Where have you gone? What are your plans now?" Even if the duo were not in the same pack, Liri wanted to make a note of the silver Beta's location. The healer would make sure to come back and visit again, she would not lose her comrade again.
