Liffey grinned as Rannoch leaned over to address the children in her stomach. She'd gotten used to behavior like this back during her first pregnancy. It had definitely been weird at first, but now it was just sweet.

While the babies inside of her attempted to communicate with their father via morse code on her abdomen, Liffey's gaze trailed out at the sky over their heads. "You know what we should do?" she said suddenly, her voice a little dreamy, "We should pick out stars in the sky for each of our kids. They can each have their own little celestial night light. And they can show their star to their kids, and they can pick stars for our grandkids until the whole sky is claimed by Frostfurs."

A whole kingdom in the sky, for eternity. Liffey liked that.
