Maybe Xizur would be a fighter, but not Tizir. Tizir was destined to be a star-gazer, a moon chaser, a collector of religions. In a fight, she’d be useless. But her father didn’t know that. She had been sleeping also when he’d come in and disturbed Xizur. Her brother’s crying and growling woke her up with a start and she turned bleary eyes towards him. What she saw terrified her. There was a strange male who had rolled Xizur onto his back. Xizur was now fighting the male, who was much bigger than either of them. Whimpering, she lay on the ground and tried to make herself smaller, staring up at the massive male with wide eyes.
