Piper did not like this little girl's attitude. Damn, she needed some adjustments. It wasn't until she mentioned that she didn't see how Piper's quest was all that important that the Redleaf girl finally seemed to snap. Her hackles rose threateningly, and she darted her gaze toward the brown figure with an expression of snide contempt. “I mean, if family isn't that important to you... I guess that's your childhood trauma. It's definitely not an issue I'm keen on tackling. Don't think I have the time to rummage through that,” Piper responded with a nonchalant bob of her head and shrug of her shoulder. It was meant as a burn and she hoped that the other girl really felt that. In better news, it seemed as though the landscape was shifting and they were getting much closer to being free of each other.
