She was envoking a stay of execution by running.  She led whoever came north through the river, allowing the water to wash away the direction they had gone by following its shallow side down and through a ways.  If @Dacio had stayed with her after their discussion (in progress), she'd have gathered him, and the same for @Anaïs if she had remained.  @Yami I'm figuring definitely is there unless Kiwi puts her foot in her mouth in a big way.

She didn't stop until she hit a mountain, and here she paused, looking at it skeptically.  She would have preferred a place with trees, but she did not want to go too far, and this was close enough without being in danger.  From here she could build, train, recruit.  The climbs will make us stronger, she thought to herself, then turned.  What do you think?
