Even with things being so uncertain, he couldn't help but feel grateful for her. The depth of his new feelings was frightening, but there was no way he could fight them, especially not right now with her gentle touches along his jaw and the feeling of her body against his; it was all so intoxicating. He wondered if she even realized the effect she had on him.
