Sleeping Dragon abyss

Hemlocke's deep, ruby eyes stared out at the volcanic rock with both fear and wonder. He had only ever heard tales of volcanoes but had never before seen one and even know he didnt know if that was what he was looking at. A blackened, jagged mountain that looked like the top had blown off (and it had) leaving it to scorch and destroy everything it touched. 

The shadow had been lucky to have not been around when it had exploded hell onto the earth but now moved through its aftermath - volcanic hard, caked mud, many trailed which flowed away from the top and outward into the vallies around it. Ash clouded the lands and in the darkness, it looked like something straight out of 'Silent Hill'. 

He didnt think he would find anything worth having here. Nothing which he could take back to the Skyward Sanctuary of use. Still curiosity tugged at him as he slunk amongst the abyss.
