A very whispered melody fell from her lips as she kept her pink champagne gaze in the twinkling lights above. "Hush, lil' baby, don’t say a word.." How was it she could remember such a simple nursery rhyme when it was sung to her so long ago and in another language? It was funny how memory worked, sometimes words and faces were so clear, so crisp. Then other times it was faded, blurry, words garbled and mashing together in a haze.
She had not kept her guard up, she had not thought she needed to plus she was not a fighter but a healer. The voice startled her, female, familiar. Pale eyes fell from the sky as she shook off the slight fright, taking in a guardian, a woman of darkness and strength. Beautiful. "singing lullabies to the stars." she smiled shyly, her tail swaying against the rock to show friendliness. Would this woman think what she was doing stupid, a joke, pointless?
