Here came the disturbance to his quiet. Toad quietly wandered like an old man on his evening walk- slow in pace, unguided in direction. The night sky twinkled above, and his gaze flickered upward occasionally with wonder. Mostly, though, he eyed the land ahead- and might not've noticed the dark wolf in the night at all, if it weren't for his glowing gaze. Two-toned. Toad drew closer curiously, eliciting a gentle chuff of greeting, not wanting to make more noise than necessary.
