But something wasn't quite right. The queen walked with a slight limp, stemming from a thorn in her left paw. She had tried to bite it out, tried to see if it would go away or fall out without her having to do anything about it, but to no avail. The stinging pain was still there whenever she put her weight on that particular limb, slowing her down immensely on hunts and making her job of protecting their sanctuary all the harder. Luckily Loinnir was doing fine; he had gotten over the blues of losing his dear friend, and was enjoying his time with the court again. With the limp still present, Lumi walked through their forest with no clear goal in mind for today.
