Blacktail Deer Plateau spring

The bubbly boy trails his guardians with a bounce to his step, oblivious to the true horror of his situations. The pair of coyotes that had stolen him as their own has been nothing but kind to him, after all. He has no reason to suspect them of any wrongdoing or evil. In fact, they're quite fun — though some part of him knows, instinctively, that they are not his parents. Yet it isn't as big a concern to the youth as it surely will be when he is older. He's fed, and entertained, and overall rather happy.
There's a growing distance between himself and his coyote caretakers now, but he's unconcerned. They always come back for him. So he takes to exploring, sniffing and idly chewing at interesting-looking plants, passing the time however he can until his friends get back. It's just another day for Blackberry, blissfully oblivious to all the tragedy that has brought him here.
