But sadly the gold Drakru was no stranger to grief. Handling it well, and neatly was another matter. She would miss Desdemona's steady watch and company. Keres, Toad... all inspiring presences that she had quietly enjoyed. Osiris too, she had wished to see flourish in her own distant way--Dacio had died to protect him, after all. It was only the half of it, and it alone stung.
