She had known that they were upset, but to so openly talk about him like he did not matter... it was not right. Even Tytonidae knew that, and she was not the brightest star in the sky. She could say nothing, speechless as she was. Her father loved Fox, that much she knew, but he had loved Lasher, too. Tytonidae could not believe that any of them would be mean to each other.

Shellshocked, Ty remained stilted, jaw snapping shut and lips forming a thin, uneasy line on her face.
