Swiftcurrent Creek Still I kind of like this feeling of being left behind

The windswept woman who called out to her had a bright voice. She didn’t react, given the fact she recognized the woman’s scent as one belonging to the pack. A packmate was not a concern, nor was it of great interest to her. She drew in a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She knew she would have to be social. 

The first answer was ”Yes.” She was patrolling. But as for interesting? The woman with her clear, sunny gaze was more interesting than a passing fox’s scent. She grunted. With a shrug, she admitted disinterest when she said ”Fox.”
