Lost Creek Hollow A whole new world... but not quite a fantastic point of view

Esma was sleeping like she would be any other day, alongside her littermates, against her mothers belly. Something or another woke her up though, but something else happened. As she woke, there was a sensation in her face and all of a sudden her eyes blinked open. Light showered over her and so many colors did as well. She closed them again, startled, but then slowly, as she was intrigued, she opened them again. Blinking a bunch she moved her head around, trying to take in her surroundings.
