Her betrayal was palpable. She seemed both shocked and hurt, and Moss wouldn't forgive Lestan for saddling his wife with these feelings, especially given the fact she was expecting to have his children. Whatever his reasons were, she decided they wouldn't suffice, not when it caused Reverie this much misery. 

It pained Moss to know Reverie had cared deeply for the man, and selfishly, she wondered if she would merit the same tears if some undeniable force took her away from Swiftcurrent Creek as well. She felt entitled to be here, at Reverie's side- nothing else called to her. Nothing else drew her away. When Reverie was in distress and in need of someone, Moss didn't leave. 

"Fuck him." She said bluntly, and lay her muzzle across Reverie's shoulders.
