She'd been avoiding @Faustus.

Not for lack of want for his company, his friendship. Put simply, Andromache had never had a friend. She'd never had the time, nor the opportunity; a princess had no equals, only those beneath her. A princess, her father had always said, must take great care in where her favor falls. A noble sentiment that had only ever amounted to isolation.

Now, she floundered. The princess finally settled on bringing gifts by way of apology: a fish from the river and a beautiful river stone, a deep blue dappled with pale green and sandy tones. She wasn't sure at all what she would say, but hoped that the gifts would speak some of it for her.
