Fin looked away again as he reached towards her. She heard his words, even though she wished that she hadn't. She didn't want to see the concern on his face, let alone be taunted by the worry in his voice. She wasn't worth that affection. At least not to.. some...

"I've just been... bored lately," she replied dismissively in a pathetic attempt at sounding honest. She held her breath for a second, hoping her comment would stall him further while she tried to come up with something to say that might satisfy him. Not the truth, of course. Definitely not that. But Fin was a clever little liar, she was confident that she could come up with something...... maybe.
