Fin prowled forward until the grasses suddenly disappeared to make way for a small, rocky clearing. Fin cast her gaze around until her eyes finally landed on the serpent, coiled upon a flat rock, soaking up what little it could of the Autumn sun.

"There you are..." Fin said aloud to it, her eyes sparkling with their typical mischievous fire. The rattlesnake peered at her with leery, angry eyes as it rattling became louder. It reared its head back over its body while Finley stood and watched. The sound was like music to Fin's ears, and she canted her head back and forth with amusement, pondering the situation and what she would be doing next.
