And Paloma would yip out a high squeal as the young girl lashed out on her for the little trick which the maid had so cruelly so played on the girl. It served her right, acting as such the haughty brat she was... and she wasn't even one which resembled the same beauty as her mother before her! 

There was a chance, however, that the both of them might be punished for such behavior and though Paloma wanted to lash out at the child, who's teeth sliced into her foreleg as she reared it up to shield her face, the handmaiden would not, if she knew what was good for her. 

Instead, she hisses, tongue flickering out between barred teeth and pale eyes narrowing. This was all, before she turned and dashed back into the shadows of the palace and away.
