the clearing had been transformed for the occasion, a gathering space warmed by the laughter and low voices of kin and allies. @Kukutux had laid out caribou hides across the snow-packed ground, their soft fur a practical barrier against the cold. she had supplemented the feast with preserved herbs and lighter provisions, the careful touch of her wisdom woven into every detail. the arrangement stretched in a long line, reminiscent of a great hall, inviting all to eat together as one.

sólhárr strode into the heart of the clearing, his broad shoulders burdened with bundles of dried meats carried alongside @Luhtar and @Pangur. they worked in unison, their movements efficient, depositing the offerings at the center of the feast. from the edge of the gathering, y’var’la approached, her pale coat dusted with frost, a bundle of freshly picked herbs from neverwinter forest cradled carefully in her jaws.

when all was set, sólhárr moved to sit beside @Callyope, the golden warmth of his eye softening as it met hers. the chieftain rose to his full height then, his deep voice cutting through the hum of conversation with ease.
