lucifer laid himself onto the layer of snow, it's cooling sensation pleasing to his unusually warm temperature. perhaps he was to hard on himself for merely seeking opportunity for expansion, isn't that what all kings wish for? lucifer was only allowed to ponder such fantasies as power had corrupted him and trust him into the pits of hell.

as the cool breeze stirred him from his musing, he let his eyes flutter shut while his lips curled into their usual snarky smirk. out here, he had no reason to hide.
