lucifer’s ashen gold eyes flicked open lazily, catching the faint silhouette of the approaching wolf against the wintry backdrop. he didn’t move immediately, his expression calm, almost bored, as though her sudden presence was little more than a passing breeze.  

at her words, a low chuckle rumbled from his chest, rich and smooth. he tilted his head slightly, his molten gaze sweeping over her with a mix of curiosity and intrigue. a king, you say? he murmured, his voice like velvet edged with iron. i didn’t realize royalty came in such... relaxed forms.
