The pale-eyed wolf who approached him wasn't anyone Panacea recognized — but he supposed that was only to be expected. He'd been avoiding company. It was best that way, he figured, while he healed; less opportunity for his new packmates to look at him and see a burden.

Apparently he didn't need to worry about that with this woman. He nodded once when she spoke, recalling passing mentions of plants but nothing specific. Lead the way, then, Panacea invited, swallowing his questions for now. He was sure he would find out soon enough.
