Redhawk Caldera Caution ahead.

A few rainy days in a row had Alivia wishing for the sun. On the bright side though, her moss collection was replete. Alivia waded into the shallows of the cold creek that ran behind her clinic and deposited a mouthful of the squishy green lumps. Towhee's summons came then, and it was a welcome interruption. 

Towhee was not alone when Alivia found her. Alivia hung back for a moment while she and Hotah appeared to exchange a few quiet words that Alivia wasn't near enough to hear. The moment seemed intimate somehow, and she wasn't sure she was supposed to interrupt. She approached when Hotah departed. 

"Hey, Towhee," she spoke and signed. She eyed Hotah's odd assortment of offerings upon the wet detritus of the forest floor, and the puzzle pieces clicked into place in her mind. "Oh, you're expecting..? Uh, congrats!" As an aspiring physician, she probably should have seen the signs earlier.
