Alivia nodded along as Aureli spoke. 

"That makes a lot of sense. I've travelled a ton, and it never stops surprising me how different the culture can be from pack to pack." 

She glanced over at Cinar, wondering for the umpteenth time what he had experienced in his past. Every now and then, she caught a glimpse of something in his eyes, his demeanor-- a flash of pain, a darkness that crept in around the edges of his impeccable deportment when he thought that no one was paying attention. She got the feeling that wherever he had come from, life there had been very different from life in the Caldera. 

Although Aureli claimed he was no botanist, he seemed to know more that Alivia at least. Her relief was evident upon her features. 

"Sounds like a plan." She looked over the raspberry plant as Aureli pointed it out. It was good to know that it was medicinal, and even better, it could be used to assist with childbirth. Judging by how it had conquered the rest of the garden, Alivia had been assuming it was a weed. 

"No, not a first birth, far from it. The mother has mentioned milk production to me.. I think that's a concern for her." Was there anything here that could help with that? If not, they could circle back around to the raspberry and preparing for the birth.
