Fin felt a little more at ease when Fox arrived. She stepped forward to meet the woman's embrace with one of her own, her tail wagging frantically as her ears splayed backwards and she licked her lips with excitement. As devious as Fin knew Peregrine to be, she also felt confident that he would behave himself better under his mate's watchful eyes. That may or may not have actually been the case. But! We move on!

She quirked a brow as Peregrine leaned over to Fox and whispered to her, obviously a ploy intended to get her anxiety up. Her brows narrowed in response as she gave him a piercing, playful glare.
