Finley's gaze flickered back and forth between the alpha pair as they spoke. Though they said many things, one word stuck out in her mind most of all--godmother. Godmother. Godmother. Suddenly the beta couldn't feel her nose anymore. That was weird. Godmother? She'd attacked a fucking bear a couple of months ago! And it hadn't even done anything! How frickin' insane was that? Fin blinked a few times and resumed staring calmly at her friends, noting their expectant faces. They probably wanted for her to respond instead of just standing there like a deer in the headlights. She liked the part where Peregrine reassured her that they weren't going anywhere, so she'd likely never actually have to do any sort of mothering. She'd be a glorified aunt. That was okay. She could do that. She'd be good at that. Maybe. OH GOD.
