Ravensblood Forest and whichever way he tilts it

How easy this wolf was to frighten! Shiv curiously stared at the cowering female as she stomped about the undergrowth, only looking back to her path every so often to make sure she didn't accidentally stumble out into the open. Surely this girl was in a pack. This place smelt like packlands — how had such an easily scared wolf earned a place within it? Perhaps she came to them bearing the bones of her seagull friend and they took pity on her. She looked quite small, maybe she was still a juvenile?

Pushing the questions from her mind, Shiv readied herself for her big reveal. She felt she had built up enough tension and suspense, it was time for her grand finale! She watched as the girl quietly stuttered, pleading with the imaginary monster. Of course, Shiv wouldn't hurt her, she wasn't sure she even had the capacity to give her anything more than a mildly annoying peck wound. But frighten the living days light out of her? Now that was something she could do.

Pausing in her tracks, the magpie waited a few moments to build up more suspense, hoping her victim wouldn't suddenly decide the danger had passed and take off running. She gave a few small whirrs just in case, before crouching down and eyeing off the foliage above her to find a suitable opening. There! With a sudden, shrill cry, Shiv leapt through an opening in the bushes, appearing before of the girl in a flurry of squawks, feathers and leaves. She swooped down, aiming to lightly graze the top of the wolf's head before flying back up to the branches in the trees, releasing a high-pitch laugh as she did so.
