Fin snickered at her friendboy's little show of attitude. Part of her felt a little guilty for making him do it on his own, but truth be told... That's a complete lie. She didn't feel bad at all. She eyed his filthy legs with a little scrunch of her nose. While she wasn't much against getting dirty, she preferred to do so in a far more exciting fashion than digging out a den.

Still... Finley parted her mouth to reassure Elwood that she fully intended to make it worth his while (after all, the best part about this expansion was that it would make room for canoodling inside the den). Before she could even say a word though, she felt a soggy foot being pressed against her down crown with a horrific squelch. Fin froze in surprise and dismay, staring wide-eyed at El as he hopped merrily away and dove back down into the den.

The sight of his laughing face brought her back to her senses, and with a growl she was on her feet. "You piece of--!" she cried as she darted after him, intent upon punishing for his misdeed only to get a faceful of dirt as he began to fling it backwards at her. She yelped in surprise again and cowered backwards, shaking her head to send bits of filth flying off of her face.

It took Fin only a moment to recover before she began to pace just beyond the range of the raining dirt. Like a caged animal, she stalked back and forth with flattened ears and narrowed eyes. In spite of the heavy frown upon her face as she glared at his rump, the corners of her lips twisted upwards in a smile. She might not have liked being on the receiving end of his mischief, but she could definitely appreciate his skill and cunning at pulling it off.

"You can't dig forever, Twig!" Fin barked at him, now fully giving in to her grin, "You'll run out of energy eventually! And once you do, your beautiful ass is mine." For a brief moment, she remembered a conversation she'd had with Fox about humping Peregrine and Elwood, see how they liked the reverse roles. The thought made her laugh lightly, and it also started the wheels in her head turning.
