Something was definitely wrong with him. The hybrid did not like how he was actually enjoying the company of the chocolate female – this was precisely why he avoided interactions with strangers. Speaking more than what was necessary only led to problems, which was also why the seafoam-eyed yearling hadn’t shared his name with her yet. He craved anonymity and hardly ever gave out his name – he was not interested in learning the names of others as he never planned on seeing them a second time. The inky teen was more comfortable living as a rogue – there were no responsibilities; no attachments. He didn’t want anything holding him back when he decided to move on. It was this girl, this complete stranger, who was causing his thoughts to crash into each other in a contradictive manner. He wanted her to forget about him – it would be difficult, considering how irresistible the hybrid was, but he wasn’t looking for a friend. At least, half of his mind wasn’t.
