Stavanger Bay Something or other

Ragna ran ahead and Floki accelerated, though he didn't quite catch up to her. When she stopped, he came to a halt alongside her, peering down at the sheet of water. She asked the question that was on his mind as well, and he turned back to look at Thistle, expecting a verbal response. But instead, she gave a playful cry and threw herself off the ledge.

Floki yelped, worried for his mother's safety for the few seconds that she was underwater. She soon reappeared and he was assured that she was fine, and that she had done it on purpose. She wanted them to catch her! Without a second thought, the boy hurled himself out over the water, feeling strangely weightless until he impacted the surface with a splash.

He plunged below, instinctively moving his legs in order to push himself back above the water. He came up with a gasp, his vision blurred and his mouth full of the cool refreshing liquid as he paddled towards Thistle. "I did it!" he gargled, though he quickly pressed his lips together to keep more water from flooding into his maw.

The little family swam and splashed until the pups grew tired, and then Thistle Cloud escorted her sleepy offspring back to the den.
