Horizon Ridge Take me by the hand

Early the following evening, @Reek and Saena made the decision and the arrangements to pay a visit to Blacktail Deer Plateau the following day. Not only did she want him to meet her family, as he'd requested, but they needed to share the news about Junior's real fate. The last week or so had been a whirlwind of sensations and lust and in the wake of that, she'd forgotten about Junior, but having woken from a dream about her sister, she knew it was imperative that she let her remaining family know.

So the two agreed to set out, and set out they did. Saena led Reek on her favoured path to the plateau, along the edge of the mountains and up over the collapsed Horizon Ridge. When the pair reached the top of the ridge, Saena stopped and stared down at the rubble spilling toward the ocean. She'd never known what happened here, and probably never would, but it must've been devastating to cause such destruction.

"Which way was Ankyra Sound anyway?" she asked, turning slowly to her lover with an inviting smile. They'd never talked much about their previous lives, so now that they were on the coast where he was probably most comfortable, Saena thought it was a good time to ask him about it. She knew his and Wynter's departure from the Sound wasn't by choice and wasn't on good terms, but perhaps enough time had passed that Reek would willingly talk about it now.
