All Welcome
With every day Tavi remained absent from the grotto following the revelation of her pregnancy, Reek's worry grew exponentially. Initially, he had figured she needed some necessary time away from the territory to clear her head. Reek would have done the same if he hadn't felt it necessary to remain behind as a duty to his pack. But, as days turned to weeks, Reek began to wonder if she would ever return. The thought that his desperate attempt to replace the family that he had lost had failed plagued him.

He typically found himself on the borders of Larksong Grotto, patrolling as he waited for Tavi's return. However, after so long, Reek tired of waiting. He tore away from the territory and traveled west (as it was the only logical direction Tavi would travel with the Maplewood to the southeast).

Eventually, he found himself in the coastal mess of briars, brambles, and brine: the Tangle. It was a terrible territory to traverse. Reek stopped on the edge and dropped to a seated position. Unable to proceed further any longer, he lifted his muzzle to the air and howled. His message was simple:

Tavi please come home.
