Rowan was experiencing the first true joys of pregnancy. Her moods wavered irrationally, hormones sending her from fine to fragile in an instant. She swallowed down a wave of emotion, choosing to push through and listen to Deirdre instead. She offered a small smile when the girl mentioned aspirations of leadership, her heart surcking as the girl spoke. "Come," Rowan said, guiding Deirdre to her den. She was growing tired, which happened far too frequently. "Talk to me of your plans." She said with a small smile as she rested with the young girl nearby.
