It had been some time since the sacrifice of Eshamun and Ar-Khalba's litter. Though she had planned to seek out the male, to find comfort in his embrace and his take release from her own emotions she hadn't. Instead she had mourned quietly. Today, though, she could not sit still. Her heat had engulfed her and turn to it's name she burned from within. This was not the pleasurable fire that had filled her when Ar-Khalba had taken her virginity, this was a desperate and hungry flame. She could smell herself on the wind, knew that her scent would reach the nose of any male close enough.

Any male, however, was not her intentions. She had promised Ar-Khalba she would find him when her time came. She would not seek him out though, no, her body may be burning with desire but she did not want to seem lowly. She wanted him to come to her, drawn by her scent. And though she wanted, wanted deeply and with all of the bones in her body, she would not let her mounting be an easy one. Ar-Khalba would work for her before they took pleasure in each other. She was aflame, but she wanted to let the flames grow higher before she let them be extinguished.

So she wandered, rubbing herself against rocks and trees to spread her scent. She walked confidently, proudly....and perhaps hungrily.
