@Asterr. Backdated an indeterminate amount of time.

He didn't come home right away. He'd stayed near the mountain for several nights, keeping to himself. He made no effort to hunt, no effort to leave nor did he make any attempt to return... to the lair. Home, he'd once called it, where he thought his family lived but now he isn't so sure. There hadn't been enough time in those few days to really sort the feelings when guilt began to pick at him. He could run, like he always did, and find somewhere else. Another new start, another pack, another... something.. He could go and not look back and ultimately try to erase the lair from his mind.

Not truly knowing if they were his children had kept him there for a while. Damien had been with Asterr before him, but by how long he isn't certain, and he knew the chances of him being their father reduced drastically. And she doesn't take the blame she should, doesn't understand what she has done wrong, and Ukko can't find any way around it.

He began his trek back with little motivation and as he crossed over and found his way into the lair, he knows exactly where he's going. While it is the last place he wants to be, with enough separation between himself and the little family that lived in the ground, he finds comfort in the fact he can leave. He'd barely seen the girls since the moment they'd been born, aside from a few peeks in the beginning, and realized his connection to them has severed enough that the guilt may not last long. Ukko tightens his jaw as he approaches the familiar surroundings but he does not make a sound when it comes into view and, instead, waits.
