The deer-thing reacted poorly to her approach, and as the reason for this could be a great many things, including the fact that she was likely to eat the creature, she did not waste time on trying to deduce the exact reason why. Instead, a brow raised at the gall of the not-deer, stomping about like some great ruler.
Wondering just how brave the not-deer was, and if it wad a potential source of a future meal, she was tempted to antagonize it further. But deciding that it seemed rather violent, with a flick of her tail she departed, back for her home in the Willows.
