The mouth of the caves yawned before her, revealing depths that were surprisingly brighter than the girl had anticipated. An eerie light illuminated the space within.

The dark fairy slipped silently inside, her head held parallel to her body and her periwinkle eyes wide with wonder. She had never seen anything like this place. It was beautiful.
