King Elk Forest A change in tactics

The call hadn't been for him. He knew that. Still, Matteo's curiosity got the better of him. Since Delight's recruitment and Mato's acceptance, he'd been keeping himself busy by learning the territory. He hadn't expected to come across anybody so far from the central densite. Still, upon spotting the old stubtail, Matteo assumed a politely submissive posture and trotted closer to greet him.

"You look troubled, sir!" He chirped, sounding friendly, inviting, but politely resigned. He didn't raise from that slightly stiff, slightly tucked in stance, even as he came to a stop to stand beside the old wolf, a reasonable few feet away. "Matteo Trovato. Ruinë." He'd introduce himself voluntarily, so the other knew his still faintly-foreign scent wasn't a sign of him being a trespassing rogue; just a newly welcomed recruit.
