Raven nodded in agreement to his comment that they were "pending" for now, though she was pretty confident she wouldn't wake up hating him anytime soon. It was probably better that they got to know one another a bit more first anyway. She didn't even know his surname, or where he came from, or what his "story" was. To his question, she merely shrugged and shook her head. "I have no idea, honestly," she answered unhelpfully. This wasn't a situation she or Towhee had ever been in before, so it was a total coin-toss as to how Towhee would react. "Either way, though, I'm in this as long as you are." She nuzzled his neck then, closing her eyes and savoring his scent and the warmth of his skin. Whatever this was, she knew there was more to it than mere chemicals and biology. There was a connection here that transcended all of that, and she wanted to dig deeper into it and see where it took them.
