It was probably a good thing that given recent events that Quixote was the one closest and able to answer the call.  It didn't even take him long to arrive on the scene -- he'd been on a patrol and so wasn't too far off to start.

In fact it was two wolves there waiting for him.  Huh.  The woman had been the one to call, he was pretty sure.  Both were fairly light in coloration (mostly).  Siblings?  From a distance and quick cursory examination he wasn't sure.  The guy had a black stripe which made Quixote immediately think of the Blackthorns but the rest of his pattern seemed not so familiar -- so maybe not siblings.  Sure, maybe there were some oddball Blackthorns out there, but they were much more likely to be shades of grey and brown than white, from his limited experience.

Whatever, a normal line of questioning should bring answers to it.  He came to a stop at a comfortable distance.  He was a little more on edge than usual, thanks Towhee and Poe, which made him act a bit more dominant than usual.  But for Quixote, who normally operated in ultra casual mode, it probably just made him more properly posed for an alpha at the borders.  Go figure.  This time of year was stupid.  You're at the Redhawks.  I am Quixote.  You are...?  He looked between them.
