hope she's not overstepping any bounds but if she has feel free to have Moonshadow react aggressively

The firewood hovered ever near as the black pearl's time loomed upon the horizons of the tangled Wood. The sun had barely risen to cast the femme, frame heavy with children, into dark profile against the shaded forest as Istoira's fiery gaze lighted upon her from a reclined position in the brambles of her territory's peripherals.

The girl once known as Keiedia was loathe to infringe upon the thicket of the mother as her delivery approached but sensed the pups would see this day's sunset by the hitch of Moonshadow's gait, the heft of her lungs as they strained in excercise. As the shadowed sprite retired to her earthen walls, the Wound-binder drew to the side of the thicket's low entrance.

Dark plume curled neatly about her paws, russet-caped crown turning as she scanned the surroundings, a protective sentinel over the birth of Moonshadow's children.

The soft cries of pain flattened her onyx auds in sympathy but she dared not approach yet. The witch had provided the Moon lady with herbs to ease the pain of delivery and Istoira doubted her presence would be welcome within the whelping den.

Her tail swished gently as the tiny squalls of pups filled the air, alongside the scent of blood and birth.

Moonshadow's whimpers of distress and the distaught howl would finally bring the warrioress to the den's maw - citrine optics of sorrow dancing over the stillborn to land upon the new mother reassuringly.

"I can bury her if you'd like," the dark sylph murmurs consolingly, knowing that Moonshadow was too weak for such a task currently and a firm believer that no mother should have to bury her baby.
"my bones are stained with sin, scorched by fire, broken by betrayal, cold in loneliness, soaked in blood.
and still. you could not kill me."
