To her surprise the girl went down and even better (or worse) she wasn't fighting back. Instead, she cowered, shielding what she could of her vulnerable body parts. There was no easy way to get to her neck or stomach, so Alice opted for injury that would slow the girl down. Spots like her leg or sides were now targeted by her fangs to try and start a bleed or prevent her from outrunning her should Reiko break away from her grasps.

The cries ate away at her slowly, it was unfortunate especially for someone so young, but she wouldn't have to suffer for long. She could end this quickly if she managed to get past her guard. Not to mention if she didn't finish this soon some passerby might hear the cries and come rushing in to rescue. The last thing she needed was a knight in shining armor.
