Totoka River it's alright, a bit scathed, a bit lost

vaguely vague about where this fits into her timeline but *shrugs* lmao

Though she dared not stray too far from the Isle - taking her confidante's heed to heart - the wisp cannot help but lope south along the marshes of the delta. If only for a glimpse of the mainland before she turns for home. 

Home. 

An odd notion, one she has not the luck to possess since before she left Lirea - a woman in the eyes of her father and Emperor, a girl in her heart. It is jarring to think of where she might rest her head and realize there is permancy there, a place to return to. 

As if conjured by her musings, the black forms cuts against the marvel of sundown - his conformation and build stabbing her heart with grief even half-blinded, even from this distance. A strange urge takes hold of her, to flee and forget the treachery of her kin in place of focusing on her future. 

Yet, the aspiring Lady is nothing if not polite. Even as he is alike to her brother, she draws closer - soft call hailing him, a rumble of welcome deep in her throat. As she draws nears, her steps falter, eye widening as she dares not believe. 

Coming to a halt, it falls from her lips of its own accord, hushed in shock and tinted with anger.
