The search for prey was ongoing, especially with winter just around the corner. And the world made sure no one forgot, showering them in a light drizzle of snow. Neither the flakes nor the chill got to him. Black Hat was a lanky fellow, but his muscles were indisputably toned, and his coat, though not the plushest, did its job well enough. The barrenness was what he didn't like. If prey decided to stick around during the colder moons, he'd be fine with winter. But they didn't, so winter was his least favorite season. Its only redeeming quality was that it was the mating season, which he lewdly anticipated.

Today, he decided to give the Caldera another visit. It didn't disappoint last time, all things considered. And it didn't disappoint now, as he spotted a pretty little flower in the distance. Her coat was a quilt of muted earthy tones over a willowy frame, and the specks of snow only accentuated her beauty. Black Hat was effectively enthralled, and he yearned to see her up close. He trotted at a steady clip her way.

Good day, He bid her after coming within earshot, slowing to a stop. His eyes roved her form, which was even more stunning up close. Her contrasting gemstone eyes enraptured and intrigued him, for they were the result of genetics as opposed to injury, unlike his own mismatched gaze. What brings you here, darling? His flirting was subtle; not enough to elicit irritation or unease unless she was the type. He made sure to keep the lust out of his gaze as well, though his loins burned all the same.
