A misfortunate goat dangled from the jaws of the beast. It flailed, it convulsed, and finally it died. You'd think she'd tear into its flesh right away, but she was still. After a moment of staring down into its still open eyes, she dropped it at her paws.

This prey was not hers. It was mearly fuel for her real prey. @Omerus. @Ruvik. @Augustus. She awaited their arrival. And when they approached, when they crouched over their food, she would watch them from the sidelines.
